Vice grips will work fine for removing the plastic pins.

Hold the front part of the tailpiece 'face down', on the edge of a counter or bench. This will support it as you tap the new dowel pins in.

Do I need to do a video for this? Would that help folks out?

absolutly. :agreed:

I'm not certain, sorry.

alright.

for futher pic info.
here is a pic from the members gallery.
the white charvel at the right, has an OFR installed on it.

Videos are always good :yesway:

I probably wasn't clear above, Nick. I'd like to say yes the plate will fit, however I don't have both herre to try. If you've got another day or two I'll check when I get back to work. I think we have an Edge lying around somewhere and we definitely have several spare blocks.

alright kool, i also emailed the guy from www.fretsonthenet.com, he sells parts for the Jackson JT-6 trem.

here's a link to that website. ( go down past the cavity covers and look for JT-6 tremolo.)

OK, here's the scoop. I compared the screw hole spacing of Ibanez Edge, Gotoh Floyd and Schaller Floyd blocks.
The Ibanez and Gotoh blocks have the same spacing, which is no surprise. Between each hole centre it's 16.2mm (32.4mm between the outside holes).
The Schaller Floyd has 17mm between each hole centre (34mm between the outside holes).
So, there is a difference. I think it is possible that your Jackson trem which is made in Japan will have the 16.2mm spacing. You will need to measure it for yourself.
I also did a quick and inaccurate measure of a few Korean trems which were different again. They were around 20mm or so.
