"I paid a good chunk of money and I don't buy guitars for fun, these are tools to make music. "

"I'm just so appreciative about these guitars, because they really were the "lifeline" in order to be able to record the next Wintersun albums. Without these tools I would not have been able to. So we are on "safer waters" now, so to speak."

Guy needs some mental help. All the other custom boutique guitars just wouldnt do of course. Ridiculous.

I don't even like Wintersun but those last two videos have awful mixing/guitar tone. The low end on the djent one is literally clipping and the warning one was like listening to a discarded Devin Townsend/Cloudkicker song.

Is this an admission that you're a friend or family member of his or something? 'Cause that would explain a lot.

Patreon forum, just that. It's one of the few places which is free of all craziness towards this band. I haven't actually met Jari, though we live quite close to each other, like 10 kilometers or so.

So, you're just an ignorant bootlicker with terrible meming skills then. I don't know what's worse.

Just boundless enthusiasm and cognitive dissonance then?

Is negativity a ban worthy offence?

Probably not, but calling someone ignorant bootlicker or claiming that Jari spent all his money on onlyfans and vodka will shure get you there. If I remember correctly there was one thread which was about Time II delays.

Just have fun with it. Go bash Tim Henson or Periphery guys for a change or something, it's much more fruitful.

I really like the part where whenever an actual point gets proven Metropolis conveniently glances over it and says literally nothing about it and chooses to just resort to insults. Kinda like Jari admitting to paying out of pocket for his huge assortment of custom guitars. Nope, all that money is going towards building this studio though I'm sure.

Man, the best part about these posts by Jari are the fucking comment sections. I for the life of me don't understand why he does it to himself. I'd heard a few years ago that he may unironically have a mental deficiency (something along the lines of high-functioning autism) and it's just slowly sounding more and more plausible to me.

As someone with so-called "high functioning" autism and quite severe ADHD I see a lot of myself in his comings and goings. To date I have released zero music because I either can't finish it, or by the time I'm ready I don't like it anymore (mostly because it took too long), however I have literally hundreds of half-started stuff and riffs/ideas. Difference is, I suppose, that I have no-one waiting on me nor caring if I ever get my shit together - not even me sometimes. Also, no-one has given me any money haha. Had I Jari's backing (from label, crowdfunding, remaining fanbase etc) I'd like to think I'd have taken it less for granted, but I'll never know.

Honestly I'm starting to feel sorry for the guy. I liked "Warning" - to me it had enough of that Wintersun sound (mainly in the synths), however it seems he's trying to "join" the downtuning party that still dominates modern metal a little too late. Whether it will be to the benefit of the music remains to be seen, but I am genuinely starting to believe that he doesn't see the glaring problems with his MO in the past 5 or so years.

So, stating simple facts is ban worthy. We get it. 🤣

I had no idea that "I don't have bespoke custom guitars for each tuning" was the new "I don't have enough RAM", but I'm here for it at this point. "64 bits were really bad issues back in the day" makes my day. Please, Jari, explain to us how 64 bits have been a problem.

Come, join us. Luxuriate in an opinion that simultaneously justifies laziness, new guitars, and new computers.
