I don’t use it that much but when I do the strings feel like rusty or something? I always keep the guitar in its gig bag. Don’t have a problem with electric strings.

If you're using 80/20 strings they corrode faster than most, and even P/B tend to degrade more quickly than a lot of nickel steel, and especially stainless sets.

I’m using PB strings. The 80/20 set I had if I remember lasted a little longer.
Will string cleaner help before and after playing? I heard it’s not good to use cleaners but I forgot why.
Elixir make coated strings that just about last forever.
