The new album is more death metal and very little to no pig squealerie. And they substitute solos for breakdowns in a few songs.

These guys are totally amazing, 3 guitarists on the same scene, its very hard to play like that...
But they do that, and its f*ckin brutol.

I love their new album, it is a pure ripoff of both Ion Dissonance and Pantera, but I still love it.

This is pretty much my opinion - just not exactly my cup of tea while still remaining quite obviously a decent band.

I like them. I like the creativity they bring with 3 guitarists.

Dude.....Whitechapel is no doubt perhaps the god of deathcore bands...when I got the somatic defilement I loved Vicer Exciser and The Somatic Defilement so much I sat down and learned them and This Is Exile is a fun song to play too...

Cant beleive I havent been in this thread yet...haha.
I dont agree with the people saying they blend one song into the other, thats actually the reason I love them so much is because they do such a good job of keeping me interested (Which is really hard to do). But to each there own, and yeah I heard they sucked at summer slaughter on select dates...but I've seen them before at a smaller venue, you couldnt even see the stage there was so many bodys flying everywhere.

They play good shows and bad shows, just like every other band.

But I cant wait to hear what they have in store soon :)

    New album for 2009?

by blending one song into another do you mean crossfading?

I played with them before in 2007 and they were flawless both nights, I was actually impressed at how tight it all was for having 3 guitarists :yesway:

Both of them are amazing IMHO.

And Dave, they were saying the songs blended into one another, as in they werent distinct or original...or atleast thats what I got out of it.
    I didnt mean crossfading, no.
