You know, all embedded videos are blocked at work (so all I see up there is a block of white), but I'm pretty sure it's me.
Whatever the video is, I'm sorry?
I want to hope that He isn't offended by this, but more that he want's to find you to appreciate that you are saying what many think without the camera.
myself included. if it IS you.
Since when did Metalheads have a reputation to be ruined?
-this guy makes very good points
-he's got the same All Shall Perish poster as me (actually no because mine is signed ^__^)
-he looks like Mark from Suicide Silence
he looks like rick rubin..
Who really cares? Half the time I don't know what "type" of metal I am listening to. I actually don't really care. If it sounds good it IS good.
In conclusion, I believe Opeth is Death Metal. Many dont think Opeth is JUST Death Metal. I dont care. I listen to Opeth because I like it and no one is going to "not allow" me to listen to it just because i dont call it Death/Prog/viking/swedishmelodicdeathmetal/cookies.
I would NEVER be ashamed to call myself a Metalhead. I just dont call myself a "metalhead" because I dont NEED to. I call myself CYBERSYN and CYBERSYN likes heavy music. Simple.
he's a cry baby.
"Lately a group of elitist pricks have been just ruining the reputation of metalheads"
Hasn't this been the case for the past like few decades?
Holy shit he doesn't even have any Nordic beard braids/needs to sell entire CD collection.
I can't believe were letting guys like this listen to OUR sacred music. bleh!
Well, I guess that's the benefit of being introverted and not involved in subcultures. I don't label myself or get into a 'group', so I'm not affected by the circle-jerk of self-proclaimed arbiters.
Has anyone really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like?
"This kid could be the next Burzum".
So you mean the next Varg Vikernes .
About the black metal mindset, I don't know if it really describe the BM community but I remember a documentary (black metal satanica I believe) and the BM bands don't want to make friends.
I think that kids nowadays don't pay attention at what random people says on the internet. If they want to listen to something and enjoy it, they will.
Whining on youtube is pretty metal.
Just got a giggle out of this 'cuz I'm not a fan of Black Metal, and, well, BM can mean something TOTALLY different.
I've never referred to myself as a 'metal head'. I might start now.
Metalhead: an abnormal creature which tends to avoid travelling in packs, has been known to grunt or growl.
Can also be dangerous - has frequently been known to shred its victims. Distinguishing features such as band t-shirts, bondage gear, 'scary' attire or unusual quantity and/or placement of hair are common, however it has been proven that no two metalheads have the same definition of "true" metal (although they may have a meticulously constructed argument to support it), a characteristic which only deepens their tendency to seek isolation.
Idk, people that self-identify as metalheads past the age of 15 are generally pathetic losers filled with impotent nerd rage. Confining yourself to any label just shows that you don't have any kind of personality of your own so you have to have someone else tell you what you should be wearing/thinking/doing.
