I'm thinking a bit differently. There are so many amps nowadays, covering so much ground. So with the shift to modelers, it's time to bring these bad boys back.

So it worked out okay for you? Sounds decent? What IR or chain did you use? Make any tweaks? I'm curious how it will translate for others. This is siiick! Thanks so much!
I’m a dingus when it comes to patches…can I run this through the converter that’s out there (can’t remember the name of it) to make it compatible to upload to my Axe 2? Or will it only work with the FM?So it worked out okay for you? Sounds decent? What IR or chain did you use? Make any tweaks? I'm curious how it will translate for others.
I think you're talking about Fractool maybe. I don't know for sure but I doubt it'll translate perfectly. But no harm in giving it a shot and tweaking as needed. 👍I’m a dingus when it comes to patches…can I run this through the converter that’s out there (can’t remember the name of it) to make it compatible to upload to my Axe 2? ISP Theta (or the rack pre)
Marshall 8200 (but summed, not 100x100 )
Mesa Mark III (preferably with a separate clean and crunch channel)
Randall V2 (preferably voiced like the Ninja) and maybe even the G3+ series
Not just deftones fans loved it iirc.Y'all think Deftones hype alone is enough for Marshall to reissue the JMP-1?
Also Mesa should bring back the TriAxis, but as a Hetfield sig model with his mods and tweaks.
The various ISP Thetas I know of are still alive and kickin', although I wish all were easily upgradeable via USB, etc. Not that I would probably even care, but it's nice to have the option.
This roar... I mean they still produce JCM 800, a 2203KK shouldn't be tough to reissue...

IIRC it has KT88 as power amp tubes 😉This one is badass. I mean yeah you can just take a jcm800 and put an eq and a noise gate in the loop and a boost upfront and you are already 90% there.
But the KK is just plug and play goodness. I hope it had a proper loop though.
That's what I'm saying. The only amps I'd want reissued are ones that would be lower than they'd cost used. Otherwise, what's the point? They're already out there and available to buy...Why do guys want amps like the Mark IV re-released when you can get it used for less than it would cost new now?
Yep and they fucking ripped. Really massive sounding and an on board boost that can get them into meshuggah territory. Never tried the digital versions, but the analog ones ruledThe original head, combo, and preamp were analog. The analog pedal based on them was basically the same preamp, and it’s more easily found on the used market.

If I were to make a Mark IV reissue worth it, it'd be making the 2nd channel fully independent (like the V or JP2C) and actually usable. I neeeever used rhythm 2 on my 4 when I had one
I had that issue with my IVa - couldn't get the lead and rhythm to work well together, but my IVb sounded great on R2 and Lead. I wonder if the changed the circuit slightly there? If I were to make a Mark IV reissue worth it, it'd be making the 2nd channel fully independent (like the V or JP2C) and actually usable. There's a post on RT that there's supposedly a VI coming out soon. It's really a second clean channel. Way better as a clean and pedal platform than a high gain channel.
I really just want a Mark VI. Use the JP2C format with the Mark IV circuit. If that also counts as a Mark IV reissue than I guess I'm in on that too.
