Pepsi has throwback made with real cane sugar, and so is Mexican coke plus glass will make a major difference. Plastic should never be used IMO for beverages.

In Mexico you still have to return the empty glass bottle in order to buy a new one, otherwise they'll charge you a bit more for the bottle. I lived in Mexico for many many years and call me old-fashioned but I think is a nice tradition.

I'm pretty sure that Indian Pepsi uses real sugar as well; tastes great with whiskey.

Yeah, Mexican Coke is legit in that it's made with real cane sugar, not high fructose corn syrup. That deliciousness you're tasting is a flavored example of synthetic vs. authentic. Also see amps, solid state vs. tube. Lawl.

You can buy Mexican Coke around here. It's sold in the old-fashioned glass bottled six packs. It's a tad more expensive, but man...it is freaking unbelievable. If they had never removed the cocaine from the stuff I might understand HOW they get it so delicious, because as it stands now I suspect Satanic bargaining.

Not really. The beverage doesn't actually touch the inside of the aluminum can, it actually makes contact with a thin coating given to the inside of the can to prevent "leeching" or any other form of contamination or alteration.

The coating isn't 100% perfect, but it's come a VERY long way over the last decade. Enough so that I'd be surprised if one in a thousand could actually tell the difference.

A lot of the difference in taste attributed to cans has to do with how folks place their mouth and tongue directly on the outside of the container, which isn't coated and often covered in dust and other nasty things you'd never want in your beverage. Next time you're faced with drinking out of a can, wipe off the mouth and rim of the can, or better yet, don't "blow" your cans.

Cans are a superior container for most beverages. The smaller air gap, opacity, easier cooling, and resilience to breaking are ideal.

Sorry for the long, somewhat pointless post, I'm just an ardent can defender.

So I haven't drank any soda for about two years or more now, but when I did drink soda, Mexican coke was the drink of choice, it is far better tasting than the normal US brand if you ask me.

That's weird I'm actually from Mexico and still visit family quite frequently but the Coke tastes the same to me. I can't tell a difference between US and Mexican Coke

I have heard much about Mexican Coke before. Would love to taste it someday as cane sugar is THE shit.

I just wonder is the Coke bottled here made from real sugar or that corn stuff. Only thing the bottle says is "sugar". :ugh:

I hope you don´t get addicted to mexican coke after trying it, because a lot of people here in Mexico is diabetic and I bet coke plays a big role in that, also, people who drink a lot of coke are very fat, but I think that happens everywhere haha.
I used to be addicted to that shit, but I really want to have a healthy pancreas and kidneys for a long time, so I haven´t drank coke in like 3 years.

You can get Mexican Coke-a-Cola at Sheetz in big glass bottles.

But yes! Mexican Coke uses real sugar cane and it is delicious!
Plus... everything tastes better in glass. Not sure why as said.

Well, I do have a day job.

Has anyone else noticed how much easier it is to get the Mexican sodas now compared to only a few years ago? I remember back down in FL it was a rare treat found only at small grocers. Now, pretty much every place worth eating at and several larger chains are stocking them. I understood back in AZ with Walmart having it, but that's right on the border. The fact I can go grab a cheese steak and a Mexi-Coke in Milwaukee is nuts.

They have a cane sugar variant out right now in the US. Tastes awesome. Main reason I drink RC Cola most of the time.
