I'd like to see Yngwie play like this if he ever gets focal dystonia. :fawk:

Andy Larocque, Yngwie, and non-metal Alex Lifeson and the totally underrated Steve Rothery from Marillion, 2:39 - amazing stuff....

    2:00 - 2:16 so much tears

Interesting lesson about BB King's vibrato from Mr. Gilbert:

"..I've been playing guitar for about 35 years, but i start working on that 2 years ago.."

Any guitar players who mention BB King's vibrato will automatically win

I do love me some Michael Keene :D

I think his soloing is some of the most stylish in modern metal. And being classy in modern metal... that's a rarity.

Yngwie. I wish I could post a video here using my phone but I don't know how. I would post his piece "vivace". But really any song of his will showcase his vibrato. Can someone be kind and post vivace by yngwie?

Oh and I can't forget David gilmours vibrato. And zakk. Especially his early Ozzy stuff

I was going to start my list with David Gilmour, but then I realised he would laugh at the rest of my list so I'll just stop there :D

I really like Vai, Timmins, John Bear-Jesus, and Loomis.

But Malmsteen is just so far beyond everyone else it's ridiculous.

    Blues: BB King
    Rock/Shred: Yngwie Malmsteen
    Jazz/Fusion: John Scofield

Scofield's vibrato is very distinctive and unique.

Yngwie Malmsteen: "Vibrato is, in my opinion, the MOST important thing - not speed."

Seriously I hate when people say yngwie is a mindless shred robot who has no soul. He has so much soul just in his vibrato alone. I will go as far to ask, (that especially in the rock/metal/shred realm), who has MORE soul than yngwie?? I say no one. Yngwie has more soul in one single vibrato note than most have in their entire solos.

Angus Young. His vibrato is so freaking powerful and it's the definition of rock to me.

    Derek Trucks also

    Spot on.

A lead guitarist is nothing without good vibrato.

3:50 for Vogg from Decapitated. SO aggressive.

Also, 3:47 here - only one note, but you might become aroused.

Yngwie Malmsteen obviously, but surprised no one said Satchel from Steel Panther.
