I like Doug Steele and the guy from Steel Panther. 80s over the top vibrato all the way!
John Sykes and Chris Poland are my "go to" guys in this dept. Although there's definitely some excellent choices in this thread.
Yngwie. There's a lot of others I love but he's who made me pay attention to it. Also, he doesn't get much pub, but Kee Marcello has fantastic vibrato as well.
Vai... Fasho... Or Andy Timmons...
Marty Friedman, Stephan Forte, Michael Amott for me.
Yngwie would probably be my favorite. I'm not sure it really matters that much to me personally. As long as the vibrato isn't so bad that it becomes distracting.
Marty Friedman FTW
I absolutely love Gary Moore's vibrato. So smooth yet strong.
Wes Hauch, Ryan Knight, Per Nilsson, Paul Wardingham, Brandon Ellis, Rocco Pezzin, Benjamin Ellis, Richie Allan, Steve vai, Paul Gilbert, aaand Yngwie haha.
The Great Kat...meow
Totally sounds like an angry kitty
Yngwie, Wylde, BB. King and Paul Gilbert.
I won't mention Vai because his vibrato is so personal, that anyone else doing it his way (well) sounds like him.
David Gilmour, Yngwie Malmsteen, Criss Oliva (RIP)
Guthrie's is awesome, really distinctive (like almost every facet of his playing - you can always tell it's him).
Yngwie's as well, easily my favourite thing about his playing.
Paul Gilbert, Zakk Wylde and Gary Moore too. And Michael Schenker, f*cking hell. Dude is a badass. See 2:55 for details.
4:22 here for some superb Gary Moore:
5:10 for Steve Lukather absolutely killing it:
3:33 for Ben Tovey from Rise To Remain, which may just be the best vibrato I've ever heard:
Angus Young and Jeff Loomis
Matt pike from sleep
Lead guitarist Stefan Weinerhall from the Swedish metal band Falconer has a wonderful style.
Vai, Gilbert, Guthrie, and this guy:
^ especially this guy.
