It looks pretty cool except for a few things. The headstock is not that good looking and the bodyshape feels a lot like the warwick streamer. What do these guitars cost?

I like the design but mahogany is a really bad wood for bass, especially with the low B. It's just not clear and punchy enough to give a good sound. You might want to try, ash or walnut.

I just want to tell you that mahogany for body its very good , and in combination whit bubinga and wenge necks give a lot of growl . And all of this in combination whit Dunlop 6000 steel ( inox ) give more bright and an real growl.

+1 Mahogany for bass gives you a good combination between growl and punch. The 30th Anniversary Stingrays are made with mahogany.

    To the OP, why MECs?

I have to agree with that.

You should use Hipshot tuners and bridge + graphite nut and your bass guitars will be perfect!
