Wishing Sean Yseult's monster-themed surf/go-go band, Famous Monsters, was better. Had such a crush on her back in the day. :p

Also, I need to find where my BluRays are. I just emptied our our storage unit after our remodel, but tons of shit's still in boxes. I watch The Shining while pretending not to be home during trick-or-treating because I hate children, and if I'm buying candy, I'm gonna eat it, godamnit.

I usually watch Sleepy Hollow and American Werewolf in London every year. Last year I also did a Friday the 13th and NOES marathon.

Just moved into a new house, and the Halloween decorations have been the first things to come out. Gonna be a stupid-busy month so Nov. 1 will be here before I know it so I've gotta cram all the horror movies and autumn walks before all the Christmas bullshit takes over.

Absolutely nothing. Well, then again Halloween isn't actually that much of a thing over here, so I guess no-one'll be surprised...

Literally just bought a wheelbarrow full of assorted pumpkins, squash, and gourds to put around the house.

If you can, go to a pumpkin farm. So much cheaper than small pumpkin patches in the city/suburbs.

I like the way you think. I've already got the Evil Dead series, Dog Soldiers, Blair Witch Project, and Stir of Echoes sitting on my shelf ready for grabs.

Speaking of headless horsemen, I went down to Sleepy Hollow for the cemetery tour one time. That was pretty fun, especially if you're into the book or the movie(s). That section of NY is especially haunting this time of year. Reminds of the first Halloween movie, quiet, vanilla suburbia with orange leaves all over the ground, cheesy Halloween decorations hung up but a kinda unsettling chill in the air.

I was driving home from getting dinner and grocery shopping yesterday and started having some car trouble. Throttle sensor is acting up so the car would just lose all power and slow down to idle, basically. Get it working well enough to get back most of the way, then it started acting up 3/4 of the way home. Car slowed down and came to stop literally directly outside an old castle while it was raining heavily outside. That same castle and stretch of road is well known for stories about cars inexplicably breaking down and of phantom lights chasing cars off the road. It was a pretty funny coincidence and appropriate for the season.

Like @p0ke said, Halloween is not a big thing in Finland. I still enjoy the season and always have, mostly because I have my birthday coming up in a few weeks. I usually don't do much until the last weekend of the month when I usually just buy some candy and watch some of my favorite horror movies like the Romero's Living Dead movies but I've been listening to a lot of TDWP's Zombie EP lately. Not only for its obvious horror theme but because it always reminds me of the carefree October of 2012 when I first listened to it and turned 18. :D

Also, dat Steinberger, holy shit. I hate both graphics and headlessness on guitars but that thing is truly an exception.
