Long story short, I was looking for a guitar to celebrate a promotion at work. I had my eyes on a Mayones when this popped up locally last minute. I was not originally the biggest fan of the Majesty when it came out. The carbon fiber shield, the mirror inlays and the matte finishes where not my cup of tea at all. However, they seemed to be getting better and better aestethicly with every iteration, until I saw this one. Holy s***! This looks amazing. No more carbon, no more mirrors and an really cool mix of small sparkles and figured maple.

After everything I have heard about these guitars over the years, I had to give it a chance. Let's just say the reviews were right, this thing is immaculate. I can't find a single thing wrong with it. The fit and finish are second to none, it's perfect. But then again, you would expect nothing less for a guitar that retails at 3899 USD.

The body is very small which makes the guitar very light despite the tone wood being mahogany and this being a 7. It weights less than my 6 strings. The fret access is unrivaled, you can put your whole hand behind the neck up to the 24th fret. The neck itself is a very thin C, extremely comfortable if you like that sort of thing. The body is super ergonomic and you can barely feel the guitar under the arm or against your body.

I know this is still the honeymoon phase, so I am not totally objective. But I have tried really hard to find any flaw on the guitar and I simply can't. EBMM really outdone themselves on this build.

TL;DR: the guitar is incredible and you would be hard pressed to find a more ergonomic and better playing 7. Believe the hype.

Indeed it does look better than many of the spades I’ve seen so far. They should really think about ditching the shield. HNGD.

I really hated it when it was released and carbon, but it doesn't bother me the slightest on this one TBH. It actually kinda grew up on me as a highly flamed piece.

I love this color and had been considering the same myself. I've got a JP7 and a JP15 and I am hooked on these models. I might have picked one up myself but I found a deal on a no-longer-produced baritone JP model, more to come on that soon.

These things play better than almost any guitar I have played, look great, and just sound really good.

EBMM is really squared away on their BFR stuff. My JP15 is one of the most resonant guitars I own. Fit and finish is top shelf

I tried a Majesty the other day, I wanted to love it but the neck felt wide and uncomfortable for some reason. Maybe I have to check it out again...

    Happy NGD!

Congrats on the promotion and the new Majesty.

I was one of the haters when they first came out, but I now own 3 of them  Two have the shields and don't bother me at all. Great guitars.

    Thanks guys!

Took the time to weight it this morning and it is 6.8 pounds. I feel like a mahogany 7 string has no business being that light. It is actually about a pound lighter than my strat, AZ and Duvell. Quite shocked about that aspect.

That's pretty cool and I reckon the nicest finish I have seen on these models. HNGD!

In terms of having a fully modern guitar that truly evolved as a result of an artist relentlessly touring the world for 30 years and wanting something more stageworthy, you can hardly top the Majesty!

I personally like the older standard JPX models, but mad props to the Majesty.
