I'm just at work but I'll check this out once I'm done . I've always loved Ibanez but never have got to try their Soundgear brand . I figured it was the Squier equivalent of Fender , not too sure .

How's the neck ? All I hear is how thin and comfy they are .

The lower tier Soundgears have gotten pretty decent compared to years past. I'd say currently anything 300 series and higher should be a decent instrument. I gigged with a recent 305 doing 3-4 hour gigs and it was very solid compared to my much more expensive basses.

The only bad thing that happened was the strap pin on the upper horn came out of the wood, which I've had happen on other Soundgears and seen happen to others.
