This time I have very strange grammatical question. It is possible to say "f*uck with someone" meaning "have sex with someone"? Or I can say only "f*uck someone"? We have huge controversy with non-native-speaking colleagues. Hope, I'll not be banned.
Here in the U.S., to say "fuck with someone" is an indirect way of saying that a person is pulling a joke of some kind, or to mess with someone. I don't think of anyone that I know of that says "fuck someone" when referring to having intercourse with someone, usually they specify the sex of the person. For instance, someone would likely say "I'd fuck her/him" I personally would simply say "sex" in place of "fuck" to avoid confusion, since the word has many definitions and uses in the U.S.
When you're "....ing with someone" it's slang for messing with them. When you hear someone say "I'm not ....in' wit you" it can mean they're not messing with you (as in they're conceding to you) or it can be a threat depending on how it's said. Sexually, you don't .... "with" someone, you just .... em...If you choose to be that crass about it.
Completely off topic but: I'm more interested to see someone from Chishinau, Moldova here! I actually have 3 friends from there who came to the US to work and went back but we still keep in touch. Small world hah
Depending on context you could say "fuck around with someone" and that would imply something of a sexual nature.
In very, very recent American slang, to "f/ck wit" something, especially a general topic, can mean simply to be involved in it or be interested in it I don't use this so I'm not good at coming up with an example. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? The only thing that's coming into my head is this comedy hip-hop song my friends showed me where the guy asks the girl, after she's told him her brother is in the army, "You f/ck wit da war?" Also, a little more common than the above usage, and related in a way, but it can be used in to mean "bother with" something or "expend effort" on something or "confront" something. This one I can make an example: I don't f/ck with the expressway during rush hour *Gets on motorcycle* "You're not gonna wear a helmet?" Nahh I don't f/ck with that sh/t I've been f/cking with my string action for 3 hours and it's still buzzing.
Ahh, the f-word, which means everything and/or nothing at all, depending on context. Propositions (in, at, on, with, around, ...) are very difficult to master in any foreign language, and, the the f-word, the prepositions give all of the necessary context. Examples: .... all - nothing. Example: "Jim thinks he's an expert, but he knows .... all." <<Jim knows nothing.>> .... around - This has two distinct meanings, depending on further context. When used with a negative word, it means to be very serious: "He doesn't .... around," <<He is very serious>>, "Come on guys, stop ....ing around," <<Let's get to work>> Otherwise, it usually means someone was sexually unfaithful to their partner. "He still likes Samantha, even though she ....s around." <<She does not remain exclusive with one partner>> .... off - A very impolite way to tell someone to leave you alone or to go away. .... up - To blunder or make a mistake, or, in some context to be a person of low social value. "I was trying to do a swirl on my guitar, but I ....ed up the water temperature!" <<I made a mistake>> "Why did you give Bostjan that job, don't you know he's a .... up?!" <<Bostjan is not likely to succeed>> .... with - usually to joke or prank, if the object is a person, or to casually interact with something, if the object is inanimate. "I'm just ....ing with you!" <<It was a joke>> "Stop ....ing with that faucet and just call the plumber!" <<You don't know what you are doing trying to repair the faucet, so get a professional>> There are a lot of local variations on this, too. The f-word can be used as a general personal pronoun in impolite company, it can be used with -ing as an adjective for general emphasis, it can be used as a generally impolite verb. You can make a sentence with three f-words and the word that: ".... that ....ing ....!" which means "I hate that person!"
Thank you, but what about f*ucking with using f*cking as noun not f*ck with. Can it be used meaning have sex with
