So there are so many inexpensive 6-in-line tuners out there but no LH ones, making it hard to do a budget build with a reverse headstock. But maybe my thinking is flawed. I heard a long time ago that the string must be wound the right way around the tuner or it will put pressure the wrong way on the screw and the mechanism won't engage as well. But now that I think about it... That doesn't really make a ton of sense for a machine with no play in the gears. Does anyone know if there's a good reason not to put RH tuners on a LH headstock?
