Absolutely awesome man, just like the other clip.
I feel like I'm going to get an 8 string for open Bb minor soon.

this is cool, bit of a Bongripper vibe but with vocals and less blues.

Man, I can't even tell which notes are you playing in your guitar with my laptop speakers hahah!

But it sounds great! Along with the low "pig-like" vocals, this definitely sounds hard, heavy and great! Keep on working on this!

While I'm glad people like this stuff, I'm getting more and more curious about all the post about how "it sounds way better than I expected". Just what were you people expecting it to sound? I'm really ....in curious now!

Really digging this! I've been trying to do similar ultra heavy doom with my 8 string but I suck so this is really inspirational to hear it done so well. :)

    Thank guys!

Yeah, there is so much more that can be done on an 8-string than just djent. I just wish more people would try it!

Also, can someone tell me why soundcloud hates the 20-inch crash cymbal I like so much? It always makes it sound like those 64kbps mp3s from the 90s

    Here's what I'm refering to: https://soundcloud.com/unjustly-labeled/haunting

Shit, I keep forgetting that I have a progress thread! This is where progress should go, not into a new thread!

    Latest track teaser thingy:
    https://soundcloud.com/unjustly-labeled/abandonment

Made huge progress with the mix. The overall clarity should be massively improved. And specific things like the vocals cannot even be compared to the old mix in terms of clarity. The cymbals are also a bit more controlled here than earlier. You could say everything's been improved in some way.

So, progress has been pretty good. 1/3rd of the album done I would say from a playtime perspective (45 minutes seem pretty reasonable). Also spent some time trying to figure out the whole publicity thing. Some of my findings relate to eye catching. This thread title (like it's predecessor) is magically cursed with being very eye catching for some reason. Unlike all other titles I've tried relating to tuning low/subcontra/whatever other descriptor. Other findings is that ss.org does not like death or black metal as much as I thought (at least not in recording studio)!

Anyways, I'll keep posting progress updates. I still can't gauge the actual interest in this album, so I might be overestimating the importance of this thread, but .... it! I'm gonna keep using this until the album's done! Unless I get complaints or something.

I don't really like the music, but the mix is great! guitars sounds great considering the low tuning.

Ooh, you're the first to say you don't like the music! Can you tell me why? Is it just the style you can't get into? Is it related to the song structure or riffs? I'm just bursting with curiosity right now!
