I've been looking around the forum and can't seem to find a ton of info on whether the Titans will play nice with my basswood 6 string (maple neck, rosewood fretboard). I've heard they sound really great with mahogany but I don't feel like taking the Aftermaths out of my RG7421 to find out lol.
Also feel free to tell me your thoughts on the pickups. I've got some serious gas for them right now.

I have a set in my basswood ibanez RG. In my limited use of them they have an enormous mid-range "honk" that I hated. At least when tuned to standard E.

Basic caveats: I don't tune low, and I don't really like that "djent" hollow thud sound.

hmm good to know. I actually like a lot of midrange even though I don't really play much "djent.

I ordered the titan. We'll see how it sounds in my guitar.

I put one in my $160 Warlock P7 I picked up and now my 7421 with D Activator sits on the stand. The Warlock is Agathis though I think, same-ish. Output is more manageable than the D Activator. Soon as I pick that guitar up its squeel city and have to turn gain down.

been playing around with the titan for a while today and whooo damn this thing is spanky in the low end, pretty nice clarity too. The low end feels tighter than a gnat's asshole
