I'll throw mine in here, part of Gibson's "Smartwood" series, it's a studio LP, cost me like $900 Canadian, and it's still probably the most comfortable guitar I own, practically plays itself. It's been my go-to since I bought it in back in '03.
Very cool @zappatton2 I've played a few of these over the years through friends and really liked them. I don't see them that often

Yeah, it's funny, at that time I had a fair amount of coin, and I had gone to the local shop to pick up an LP specifically. I only mention the price, because I swear I played every LP in that place, including some high-end models in the $3000 range, and I was actually prepared to pay that much. But none of them felt right in my hands, can't really explain it, but me and this thing just gelled. Still do, no matter how many other guitars have come and gone.
This is the way.
The one time I played a bunch of les pauls, I didn't buy any of them haha. Every other les paul has been sight unseen or not in a comparison shopping bout.
I haven't played a smartwood but I remember seeing them in the Gibson catalogue of my nearest dealer.
The guitar I gelled with before buying my LP studio (first expensive guitar, first gibson, third guitar) was a Yamaha AES. But ya boy wanted an LP...
If this didn’t have a weird urine stain on the back I would have prob made an offer.

Yeah I thought the same thing… I’d do it if he took $2k max. I think they were originally only $2999 anyways.

Beautiful LPC, but I can’t get over the back of the Tremonti. It just looks funny to me with a natural back and finished neck.
Forgot one (‘merica!) and here’s a non-Sweetwater shot of the Black Beauty too. Also another shot of the goldtop - it’s a 2015 LP Less+ (chambered and half the thickness of a reg LP).
