So after months of trying to get the Les Paul/Mockingbird crossover to work, i gave up. I started doodleing bodies and came up with a mixture of the Jazzmaster and Kurt Cobain's JagStang. I tweaked the details to this:
    JagStang left side
    Reshaped Jazzmaster Right side
Strat style shoulder route (or flattop if i get a top)
    Top mounted p-ups
rear rerouted vol and tone controls
side jack on lower right side
ibanez style neck joint (or standard, not really sure yet)
    Jazzmaster style trem
    25.5 inch scale
    strat style headstock
    p-90 neck pickup
    Duncan Dimebucker bridge pickup
    on/off switch on p-90, on/off/tap on Dimebucker
J-bass vol and tone knobs, with .001 capacitor on vol and .020 capacitor on tone.
Pics soon to come as well as wood type and when i expect to start it.
