So SSO, lately I've been having the strangest craving...
    An ERLEWINE CHIQUITA!

I must say I'm a sucker for the quirky little guitar oddities that float to the surface of the production world, and the Chiquita is creating strange, irresistible GAS.

Has anyone here owned or played a Chiquita? I must know what I'm missing!

I don't know anything about the Chiquita, but Johnny Winter played Erlewine guitars for years...perhaps indicative of a decent quality in the brand?

I agree with the price befuddlement. Don't get me wrong, it's a neck through guitar...but you could buy a neck through Ibanez for the same price (and have 24 frets, 2 humbuckers and a Floyd Rose).
