Not on my phone it isn't!

The best thing about SSO is that 99.3% of discussion here is about guitars in general.

It just so happens that 99.3% of the time, I'm thinking about guitar, so it was meant to be

I wander in the chatroom 1-2 times a year. I usually make at least one person mad at me and then I leave once people start sharing musiciansfriend links like anyone cares what bass pedal you want once you get a stable job.

I jest, if only slightly.

    ^This.

And personally, for me the best thing is that all of the experienced/senior members I've encountered have been nice, helpful, courteous, et cetera.

Actually, pretty much everyone I've encountered has been nice/helpful. :D

Plus there's not too much of a "Bow to your Mods, for they are infallible and all-knowing." mentality.

Well, really that was off-topic. You were talking about the chatroom, I took it as "What's the best thing about SS.org to you?"
    Sorry if I derailed. :ugh:

I would be the one in the bright orange safety vest with my mittens buttoned to my sleeves and a Speed Racer lunchbox in my hand.

Don't think I'd last long with the likes of all these guru's and aficionado's in this place.

Gonna have to disagree to a point. Have you ever met Max? He's like a freaking database of everything! I'm not sure I've ever seen him bested fairly. It takes 3 people to even try and prove him wrong

It's a shame how few are still around too.

Ry_z and Necris never show up, poopyalligator is MIA, Brandon comes around every so often, Drakkar also peaced the FVCK out (or was permabanned possibly), same for Ross (vampiregenocide), and who knows what happened to teqnick (I think he was also banned)

I'm probably forgetting another two or so, but the vast majority are gone

I've popped in once or twice and there's never been anyone there. Maybe I came in at a weird time but it was a little disappointing

I'm here every day, I've just taken to lurking. I don't really have much to add, since I'm on an indefinite sabbatical from playing guitar.

I do miss the days of our old chat crew. Those were some great times!
