I like it! Gives it a bit of a modern feel... I think a lot 80s stuff would sound awesome with some modern day chugging. The only thing I say is if you were trying to stay ahead of the beat a little? Seems just a bit ahead, but that may be from too much meshuggah, lol.

This sounds awesome. One of my all time favorite songs, thank you for not fucking it up like nfg did. Seriously though, great job.

I LOVE Tears for Fears. I think the chuggs could have been a little less "djenty", but heavier, with ringing out chords. I usually hate this clean sound, too. It fits very well here, tho. Good job!

Great arrangement! Very fresh sounding, but nothing sounds forced or awkward, which is easy to have happen when reimagining a song into a new style. My only complaint is that it's too short!

Very cool. I always enjoy a good metal remake of an 80s tune. Anyone who says they don't like Limp Bizkit's Faith cover or Fear Factory's rendition of Cars is full of shit, and I'd put this right up there with both of those.

Thank you all for the kind words. I'll try to finish it if you guys enjoy it. I'm also working on A-HA Take On Me, and possibly some Hall & Oates, we will see...

I literally just in the last week thought about doing Shout by them. Wow. Your tone is marvelous! I get a big Loomis vibe!

Good start. Vocalist is excellent. Finish it off and then do that awesome Thompson Twins song. "Hold Me Now".
