Version 2.2.2 finalizes the 64 bit support on the PC side and all customers currently using the Public Beta available up to this point are advised to upgrade immediately. This version is also essential for preset pack integration and includes the following bug fixes and improvements:

    improvements in version 2.2.2:

    - Sound libraries are now organized alphabetically and separated in SDX and EZX groups
    - the 'SoundLib' menu on the settings page displays the current lib when you first enter it
    - the groove position marker can now be moved to quickly listen to other parts of the groove
    - bus sends can be post fader for extra routing possibilities
    - sends can be disabled just like effects, by right/control-clicking
    - new bus sends inherit the channels volume and panning when first created
    - clicking the Reverse button in the mixer now also reverses the panning of the mics sends
    - close mics for the selected X-drum are graphically emphasised on the mic assignment page
    - classic view can be set as default (settings page)
    - knobs controls can be forced to operate in linear mode (settings page)
    - legacy Superior library linking by selection of the 'Superior' folder should validate all S1 libs
    - the 64 bit version has its own independent memory limit and is off by default
    - improved handling of registry virtualization under Windows Vista and Windows 7

    fixed in version 2.2.2:

    - crashes when nothing is routed to OUT 1/2 and the sampler rate is different than 44.1K
    - crashes caused by incoming CC7 when the GUI is not visible
    - MidiNodes are reset as part of project loading, whether the SoundLib used is changed or not
    - the envelope value display no longer extends too far to the right when edited
    - stereo X-mics were sometimes not correctly treated, causing problems with sends and effects
    - bouncing and bleed editing should no longer be problematic for X-drums with a mixture of
close and non-close mics assigned to the same mixer channel
    - overloaded transmute could use an unloaded hit on bounce and thus cause a crash, fixed
    - MIDI repository when EZdrummer is not present changed to a EZdrummer friendly location
    - 'tooltips' no longer remains in the original place if you operate another floater-enabled control
    - version numbers in the help menu should no longer display strange squares after the number
    - previous versions can now be installed for roll back purposes on Mac OS 10.6

    Other changes

    - preset pack integration as part of the Combined preset menu (packaged preset pack support)
    - internal engine changes to adapt rendering to Beatstation needs

    Avatar update

    - channel names changed to match other SDX-s
    - busses in presets documented to help understanding of processing
    - 'brush' kit available as a starting point
