How is there not a thread for this yet? This lineup looks amazing and I'm excited to see so many death metal bands on one ticket. Especially looking forward to Cannibal Corpse, Suffocation, and Revocation. I've been a huge fan of suffocation for a while but they never come around here and already having seen Cannibal Corpse when they toured with Behemoth, I know they're going to be great. Nile's latest album was amazing so I'm also looking forward to that and it'll be interesting to see ATB after... ya know... Looks like this lineup leaves nothing to be desired, except for Hypocrisy of course  Anyone else going? if so which city? I'll be at the one in Baltimore!

Holy sh!t. It's actually in Chicago and not 2 hours outside! I can go this time! Amazing lineup and the venue is 20 mins from my house. What a score!
    Also
What's the band on the bottom left? Slaughter to _____?

Oh hahah never heard of them
Furthermore found out they were deathcore and realized why
Anyone know if they are any good or are they just another chug/breakdown fest?

Went to check em out. They seem pretty legit. Good musicianship. This song is cool but I listened to some of their other stuff and am not hooked this far.

Anyway, that lineup is really great. Cannibal and Revocation already warrant showing up.

And Mike Smith and Guy Marchais. :agreed:

Their current drummer, Kevin Talley is awesome but watching Mike play live is just flat out amazing. I don't know why Guy had quit the band but I really like the albums he recorded with the band and his performances live.

Excellent line-up. CC & Nile together? Suffo, Krisiun, Revocation wow!

It's f*cking sad what's happened to Suffo though. Having put out the absolute best album of their career as a band (imo). On top of masterpieces like Effigy Of The Forgotten, Breeding The Spawn & Pierced From Within. For Pinnacle Of Bedlam to come along so late in their career.... and then watch as the band slowly falls apart.

    What band is bottom center?

I wish every band had their font choice like ATB, where everybody, including people that don't know the band can read their names. Maybe if we could read their band names they'd be more popular.

    lol

I can't wait this lineup looks sick. Last year I didn't go because the whole tour seemed to fall apart before even starting, but this year is really extreme in comparison. I really want to see Revo again, and I'll get to see every other band for the first time so this year is going to be incredible. I'll be at one of the NY dates, not sure which yet.

I was there yesterday. Got there just in time to miss Revocation. Carnifex sounded good- just wish the dude would lose the eye-liner because it would probably grow their fan base about 20%. I'm not a big fan, but sound was on point. (sans hell of unnecessary dive-bombs)
Caught part of Suffocation- just isn't the same without Frank.
Watched all of ATB. First two songs sounded like ...., finally hit their grove after that. (Maybe didn't sound like ...., but just messed up a few times/not ready) Loses quite a bit of the magic with only one guitar. They didn't use any backing tracks and Trent was playing both parts when he could.
Left after that to hang out next door. It was hot as .... and pretty nasty in there.

*Get there early if you're trying to check out new bands. I got there at 6:00 and missed half the bands. "Cannibal goes on at 10:20 or they don't go on at all"

    was a good show.

ingested, krisiun, suffocation, and nile were great.

the deathcore stuff was pretty terrible. we were asked, as an audience, to bounce on several occasions...

    cannibal corpse was meh.
