Hi guys! Is it possible to tune a baritone guitar to E standard or it would damage it?
Guitar I'm referring to: ibanez rgib6 (28' scale)

Yes, it would be fine (I've done it my self using that guitar). Just use appropriate string gauges for the tuning you are using and you may need to change your nut out because of the larger gauge strings that guitar comes stock with.

@Gravy Train said it perfectly. Although I have to ask out of curiosity, why would you play standard on a 28" scale?

Soloway Swans are 27" scale instruments meant for this explicit purpose. Maximum clarity and dynamic range from having an extended scale length in standard tuning.

Yes fine but use slightly smaller gauges compared to standard tuning on a 25.5" scale, to keep tension where you want it (use a tension calculator). Do not tune up a baritone tuning string set obviously.
Roughly, if for standard tuning on 25.5" you like a .010 set move to .009 set, or, .009 set -> .008 set.
You won't need a new nut for smaller strings as downforce keeps the string centred in the curved slot floor.
More clarity and better tone from the lower strings.

I have a handy calculator on my site for translating gauges to new scales :) As ixlramp said above, 25.5 to 28 is roughly down a gauge. 24.75 to 28 , almost exact.
