Okay, so there's a clip on Rick's instagram he posted maybe a week or two ago where he is doing these really awesome sounding arpeggio's on his ESP.

I've been trying to see what he's playing but I'm really not that good at things like this, so I'm really just asking for a general idea of the type of arpeggio/sweep he's doing, it just sounds awesome and it resolves so nicely at the end. I wanted to learn this because it looks like a great exercise at a moderate tempo...that speed is about the fastest I can sweep

He's doing arpeggios in string skipping.
And those are at least arpeggios with a 7th.
I'm not good at this either, it's 5:30 AM and I didn't sleep, but it's sure not a sweep, look at his right hand ;)

I'm up way too late... decided to help you out here. Here are the arpeggios Rick is doing in his ESP demo along with the Chord. It's a very fun lick, ENJOY!

Going to need alternate picking and string skipping to nail this one!

You are a noble, noble soul man. Thank you so much!

EDIT: You're also the guy who tabbed out Sikth's entire discography....can you stop being a god among men and being so generous?!

Were you hit by a meteor from Krypton or something? Just amazing ear/transcription skills, I'm still reeling from the fact I have SiKth's songs magically notated in painstaking detail.
