"See you at the market square" is just an ironic Finnish saying, every time Finland is even mentioned somewhere abroad we say let's go to the market square to celebrate :lol: And when something actually happens (for example we win the ice hockey world championship) we do it for real.
My wife and I lived in Finland for a couple years a while back and we still yell "meet at market square!" every time we hear Finland mentioned. Good times.

Just figured I'd add this little side note: not all market squares are nice and idyllic like the one Kaura posted. For example in my town it's basically just like a big open area, almost like a parking lot, where market stalls and stuff are put up when it's market time.
