"See you at the market square" is just an ironic Finnish saying, every time Finland is even mentioned somewhere abroad we say let's go to the market square to celebrate And when something actually happens (for example we win the ice hockey world championship) we do it for real.

My wife and I lived in Finland for a couple years a while back and we still yell "meet at market square!" every time we hear Finland mentioned. Good times.

Just figured I'd add this little side note: not all market squares are nice and idyllic like the one Kaura posted. For example in my town it's basically just like a big open area, almost like a parking lot, where market stalls and stuff are put up when it's market time.
