A few words first, no it's not perfect, no I don't know why I did it, no I will never do an entire album cover ever again.

Anyway I would appreciate if you give it a listen, even if it is just to your favorite song of the album. I need to go outside now.

    A) You have far too much time on your hands.
    B) This. Is. AWESOME! I did not expect that you did every guitar part, too. Holy crap!

This is almost better than the fucking album. Now your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to redo AJFA with bass. Most of the others on YouTube sound like garbage.

Excellent job, seriously. Well done. Some nice touches of your own and a authentic tone for the album. Good work.

Covering MoP with a reference to the best Iced Earth album in your username.... I'd like this even if it wasn't stupidly well done, just on those merits alone.

From one student of the school of Hetfield and Shaffer to another....kudos!

Thanks guys! AJFA and Ride The Lightning are definately contenders if I ever decide to do this again.

well I'll be salted and hung out to dry for 24 months until rich with flavour

What's the best thing? That you can play it all? That the tone is so spot on? That you recorded it in a day? IN A DAY

Haha! To be fair I played all these songs so much throughout the years that I knew them all inside and out before starting to record and that is the only reason I was able to do it so fast.

I am plugging my guitar in my Mark V with a Maxon OD-9 in front and sticking a SM57 in front of my cabinet. Tiny bit of post EQ to "Puppetize" the sound a bit and that's all there is to it.

Amazing! This kind of a thing makes you want to revisit the album and listen to it again because now it's a bit different. It's like a rebirth. One of the best threads on this forum for that reason.
