Idk... This is my Voodoo Devil Duck-head Hula Girl. She's been with me for quite a while and she accompanies me on all my primitive off-road trips. Everything on her represents something. Cute, huh?

Those two top comments on that article, pretty much.

I don't care about this new little "outrage" story one way or the other, but if someone told me they bought a hula girl ornament for their car as a reaction to some youtube video they saw where a woman got upset over one I'd want absolutely nothing to do with that person. That's an absolutely ....ty character trait to have.

I agree with Necris. This woman's actions were very stupid, but so is being stuck with some tacky thing you wouldn't have wanted otherwise. That being said, "The Pillaging of the Continent of Hawaii" could make a decent title for a power metal song.

Sweet, because I wouldn't want anything to do with someone who can't take a joke, or see the humor in the purchasing a Hula Girl as a conversation piece, due to a SJW idiot's video.

Another plus, I wouldn't want anything to do with someone who posts uber long run on sentences with no puctuation to express their opinion on a message board regarding a youtube video about a Hula Girl on a dashboard causng a SJW to trigger on a Lyft driver,.,.,.,.,.,!!!??

You seem to have misinterpreted my comment as being directed at you when it wasn't. You're right, though. I did utterly fail on the punctuation.

Damn that's awesome. She's clearly a ....ty person and a professional victim. That lady is ACTUALLY the stereotype of "....ty SJW asshole". I mean, who in their right mind would want to be associated with someone like her? She has ....ing followers. Wow.

Her voice is annoying as ..... You can tell she's from the Valley. :barf:

And as a Hawaiian, there are bigger problems my people are facing than a piece of tourist kitsch, we also don't need someone who has no clue wtf they're talking about trying to fight our battles for us.

That's exactly what I've been wanting to hear for so long. I feel like Social Justice Warriory is only a tool for young white kids (or just anyone who's lived a decent life in the West) to utterly project their own lack of culture and their ingratitude for all the good things in their lives, onto others. It's like "think of the African children!" on a sh+t ton of steroids.

I think your description is pretty accurate.

In my opinion having a cause you believe in and are willing to work for is a great thing, as is caring about social justice, women's rights, gay rights etc. But many of the people termed "SJWs" on the internet don't seem to have a cause they actually believe in, nor do they seem to have any real concern for anyone but themselves. They're praise-starved attention seekers at their core and seem likely only to hurt any legitimate cause they attach themselves to. That last bit alone is reason enough to loathe them, I think. The reason SJWs don't bother really bother me, though, is that I'm not convinced they're all that widespread outside of the internet. I've encountered exactly one, and that was in a college class and she didn't make it through that class.

back when i was in art school i did meet some socially conscious and active people. while i used to poke friendly fun at them, their activeness is far more understandable than the current online phenomenon. in my country we have huge, alarming environmental and social issues that have been cooking for decades. in our tiny country alone we have over a million and a half refugees... that's about 30% of the entire population now. we also hear horrible stories every day about the often racism-fueled mistreatment (and scarily high rates of suicides) of foreign domestic workers. not to mention the physical abuse LGBT people receive from the police, their non-existing rights and the daily dump of our capital's waste in the rivers and valleys. nobody bats an eye about those things.

complaining about a Hula girl, i mean, that's just on an entire level of ridiculous. you people have potable tap water, goddamnit, stop trying to falsely give some meaning to your lives. just let people enjoy some sunshine on their dashboard if they want it.

hahahaha This was the first thing I thought of when I heard her speak...

As far as that woman and the whole lot of SJW's...I'm going to refrain from commenting further as my blood pressure is high enough this morning.
