Another option is organizing your space so you can fit a bigger cab. All just depends on priorities.

Snagged an ENGL MetalMaster Combo that I couldn't pass up given the price.

This is cool, because you know what 50 and 100 watters sound like. I'm curious what your review of the Engl will be, since you have a good foundation for comparison.

Haven't needed pedals in awhile and got rid of mine years ago so thinking about picking a few cheap ones up for the Engl since I'm not gigging... Joyo Vintage Overdrive, rando cheap amazon noise gate, and a joyo digital delay...

also have a chance to trade for a line 6 M5 stompbox pedal? would this work with combo amp? would it go in effects loop?

I would go with the mini Invective.

I've had one since shortly after they came out. The cleans sound decent, but I struggle to gel with the distorted tones. For a lot of settings, they seem to have a hint of cocked wah about them. It's okay with the EQ all set to 5, but I regret not getting a 6505MH and cab, which was the other thing I was thinking of at the time, so I can see where Bearitone is coming from. FWIW, it sounds much better to me with the soak off and the master volume down. YMMV, of course.
