Hello!
Looking for recommendations for a single coil sized neck pickup to match my bridge Ceramic Warpig. What do you recommend?

Another guitar with a Cpig has a sinner, and it's great. But I wanted to try noiseless. So either noiseless single coil, or single sized humbucker. Please.

Currently I have a Zexcoil Throaty Bucker (Great name. Makes me laugh every time I say it) and it's really great. But there is a big volume jump when switching between pickups. Zexcoil has a higher output option, the Convertible neck pickup. I'm going to email them and see what they think.

Any recommendations you can offer for a neck pickup would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I really like the Duncan Quarter Pounder and Schecter Monstertone paired with high output humbuckers.

Neither of those are noiseless options.

Check the Fast Track 1 and Chopper from DiMarzio and Little 59 and Hot Rails from Duncan. All those are readily available in the market and will tick your boxes unless you want something specially snappy really like a single coil but louder... Where you could look for the duncans STK-S2 or STK-9... Those are a bit more single coil sounding but probably not much more than the Fast Track 1

Yeah if you're looking to retain more of the single coil sound but with higher output and noiseless I'd definitely try pairing the SD Hot Stack Plus with the Warpig. I've never done that pairing exactly but I've paired the STK-S9 with other humbuckers that are similiar in output and such as the Warpig and it worked great.

I know you requested noiseless but just wanted to share my 2 cents for another good option. I have a cobra 7 paired with the ceramic nailbomb in my Apex 100 and they work nicely both tone wise and output wise. For warpigs i would consider an impulse or if you want that thick creamy lead the trilogy neck would also work, and it was also the neck BKP recommended me, but i ended up choosing the cobra as i wanted an edgy and aggressive neck to match the aggressive voicing of the nailbomb. I can definitely see it working with a warpig as the warpig despite having slightly higher output than the nailbomb, it still has more of a vintage voicing in comparison.

Hi, thank you everyone for your advice. I had actually forgotten about this thread. :D sorry.

I ordered a DiMarzio Fast Track 2 for the neck. The DiMarzio website says that Neal Schon uses it in the neck position, and I can see it in many of his guitars. So we will see how that sounds.
