bandinaboy, that lead in the intro was fantastic! Great writing, especially consider the narrow timeframe! Great job.

Props to all of y'all. I tried and I failed.

    EDIT:
I failed miserably on the track I was working on so I just deleted everything. I then decided I shouldn't be a quitter so I just threw something together real quick. Consider this my 23 minute song. It took longer than an hour for me to record the old one, scrap it, then do a new one so I wouldn't care if my entry wasn't voted on. Just a little something for y'all to hear either way!

My favorite part is the end. I thought it went longer so I ended on a weird note. Also I suck at mastering.

SUNDAY BUMP! LAST FFULL DAY TO WORK ON THE ENTRIES!! :D

And, to MacTown, that's pretty damn good for 23 minutes! I wish you hadn't of deleted your original track and posted it instead! This is just for fun and a great learning experience, imo :D

Thank ya sir! The other one was absolute garbage though. I just wish I would've approached the other one the way I did the final version: bass first. Indeed it is excellent learning experience though!

Submit some more stuff! This contest is lots of fun.

Well, at least in my case I didn't/don't have the plugins needed to create exactly what the theme called for. And I don't own the necessary equipment either so that kinda settled it for me.

Wasted too much time on details so I couldn't get it all shiny, but it's ok I guess.

E: Looks like I only rendered a second or so. The correct link will be there soon.
    E2: It's up now.
E3: Should probably mention that this is all mixed with headphones so there might be some really bad gain staging there.

Hi, my name's Donny and I'm out of my element:

This actually went better than I thought it would, especially given the theme (not that mine is exactly the most fitting of it ). Given my annoyingly tedious drum programming process, I didn't think I'd get a minute of music.

Mixing was barebones at best, but I s'pose it could've turned out worse.

Freaked out coming home from band practice thinking I'd run out of time!
Late night recording session, was hard to feel inspired after playing guitar already for the past 5 hours, But I managed to come up with something. Tricky theme too. Took me right out of my comfort zone.

This took an hour and eight minutes.
