I'm just curious what's out there like this? I like the Ibanez AWD series but is there anything else like that?

The Schecter C-1 E/A is a semi-hollow superstrat style guitar:

The link above is to the new model. I happen to have the old model, which looks like this:

Suhr has made a number of them. The first one I remember seeing was the old Minneapolis based Benedict Groovemaster in the early 90's.

It's actually a very versatile guitar. I've since upgraded the Duncan Designed pickups to a DiMarzio Super Distortion in the bridge and a DiMarzio Air Zone in the neck, which really woke up the guitar and added to its overall range of tones (the Duncan Designed pickups were a little too dull for my tastes). The Graphtech Ghost piezo system is very awesome too. The tone control for the piezo pickups helps with coping warmer acoustic tones, plus it seems to take to effects really well. I mostly play my 8-strings these days, but I do pick it up from time to time when I'm looking for that awesome piezo clean tone.

This is a Conklin from long ago...a former dream guitar of mine. I normally try not to judge guitars based off appearance, but this guitar looks comfortable and really fun to play. Plus, all I have to go on is appearance.

Does the PRS shape count? Because the PRS SE Semihollows might be up your alley.

I've seen one of these in person and a few of them up for sale on forums/sites:

Is it just me or does that look huge in regards to the thickness?
It does look like an interesting acoustic take on a super strat though. I just hope my eyes aren't deceiving me

Was thinking the exact same thing. It looks incredibly thick (that's what she said).

Also, +1 to the PRS SE recommendations. LOVING the two I've recently acquired, but they aren't semi-hollows.

Amfisound do Arcticia variants on their models:

    So pretty much semi-hollow anything.

Yes, the body is very thick like an arch-top, but shaped like an RG. :yesway:
