    Just found out that the man is doing skype lessons, also selling some vids I guess. Tosin fans might be interested. Happy to see that Scott is still at the top of his game !

    Nope, I'm fine being my own teacher, but the guy deserves to be known. He's probably the n°1 guitar slapper and sure has some wisdom to share.

    I'm fine being my teacher too, but the guy has some lessons that might be interesting.
    I'll contact him maybe.
    Still I don't think you can learn slap via internet lessons, I think you need someone close to actually tell you what you're doing wrong and what, where and how you can improve.

    What an odd reason to not study something from under somebody.

    That said, thanks for the video. I emailed him earlier and hope to hear back from him. Slap/pop on the guitar is a technique that's not commonly taught with any great amount of depth. Which is a shame, because it's one of the hardest things you can do on the guitar, imo.

    Guthrie once said this guy is the best at this, so . . . y'know, if that means anything.

    Also, he looks like Jack Black.
