A bit cringe worthy and awkward? What do You think?
Also: Axe ax8->Orange Dark Terror...
I watched this earlier today. Yeah, it's definitely cringe-y and awkward to me. I dig a lot of their music but the way they're marketing themselves these days is...meh. Sometimes it's entertaining, sometimes I just shake my head. Pretty fun in concert though. /shrug
I think we’ll see a change in them personality wise soon. Or at least, i know if i read a large amount of comments saying i was acting like a cringey douch i would probably take a moment to assess and adjust the way i market myself.
On topic: I think it’s cool he tours with such a simple rig. Low wattage too. Trip out
Wow, that shirt....
He's still nowhere near as cring inducing as Tim Henson imo. Scott just comes across as kind of a dork, which is fine. As to the rig, I'm surprised he went with such a low power option. I'm also liking the fact that Ibanez is making all these different colored AZ's now as well. That's something that Charvel really needs to address with their DK24 2PT line that obviously was designed to compete with the AZ line. Great guitars but extremely limited with the color choices.
So any word on why Henson was omitted from the rundown? Rumor has it they’re attempting damage-control after the unanimously negative reaction to the Ibanez and Dimarzio sig announcement videos.
I actually laughed at this. He seems a funny little c***. Can't say i've ever seen anyone carry on like that on a rig rundown.
"A bit"? The return of Superdouche. Some people just need a high five...
Basically being to casual in a professional capacity. Live and learn. Stop wearing those pants too.
"There is no such thing as bad publicity."
I enjoyed watching it. These guys put out some good music to listen casually.
I can see PG scrapping it due to it being too weird and cringy. I don't think anyone's playing damage control, its just it probably wasn't a good rig rundown.
Someone like Satchel can get away with it because he's a much bigger name, so (hopefully) most people are in on the joke. Idk if a lot of people know who the Polyphia dudes are.
Man, I was really preparing for some cringe-compilation material especially after the Dimarzio video but that was easily the funniest and most entertaining rig rundown I've ever seen. The dude actually seems super chill and nice. Most guys on these shows just feel like they're doing a high school book report or some representation at their office job they have interest for but this was far from it.
Yeah, none of their videos bothered me. Not at all.
The spandex, hairspray, and guyliner generations somehow seem super-masculine in retrospect
Mostly because they were muscular dudes in general.
lmao that shirt
I instantly thought of Satchel ...But whats cool about Satchel is he is making fun of stuff like this , he isnt serious.
Premier Guitar are rather liberal on what they publicise, so yeah, I guess it is based on the artist.
Their interview with Andy Summers was rather rocky when they asked him what strings he used. And then there was Nine Inch Nails:
The entire Robin Finck segment is straight up uncomfortable to watch...
