Every time these specs are refined, it gets closer to perfection :hbang: If a Soloist/RG inspired bodyshape (not a copy!) is offered, I'll buy for sure. As for other body shapes, a lot of people seem to want an explorer, but that's a big body. Maybe something PRS inspired as well?

RG or soloist body shape, sounds good for the "classic look".
Headstock shape ? ( 3+4 or all same side ).

Superstrat or V is good with me and also prefer tuners on same side.

Start a Poll for basic body shapes :p make it simple
Then we/you can define the shape more after three win

    for instance
    1 superstrat
    2 PRS
    3 les paul
    4 Explorer
    5 X shape
    etc....

I may have skipped a post or two, but electronic-wise :
    - will it be possible to order a guitar without pickups, and just have it routed for passives or EMG-likes ? And H/H, HSH, or single H options ? Or make it one config only ?
    - will you offer different control layouts options, or have it predefined ?

(You'd better make the body and headstock supersexy. I started saving up already !)

As far as shapes go my votes would go to:
    1. Soloist/RG
    2. Singlecut
    3. V of some sort

Not necessarily in that order, but those cover a good variety of tastes.
I'd really like to see your take on these styles Sebastian, put your own spin on the designs. :yesway:

Concerning the body shapes, I'd really like your take on the RG/Soloist body and a Flying V as well.

Those specs look really good. :agreed: As long as you have a sexy superstrat shape, I'm buying one for sure (unless I can afford a full custom).

well now that the scale things is outta the way

it looks like alot of people are aiming for a soloist/RG shape, and i'd have to agree

i would also have to agree with a single cut

as for another, it's a toss up between a PRS shape and a V/Rhoads shape

at this time i would like to open up possibilities of head stock shape and layout

personally i would love to see a in line 6 and 7, a 4x3/3x4 layout is a good one, dunno if we should do a 5x2, too petrucci for my liking

the 8 would either be a 5x3 or just 4x4, but 4x4 sounds the best to me cus the headstock wouldn't need to be aslong for 4x4.

NOW let's get started on a shape for the 6, 7, and 8

As far as eight string headstocks are concerned, I think that it should be a 4L and 4R setup. It keep the weight down.

Man, I'm stoked for this. How long do you think it'll be before this becomes fully fledged and running, Sebastian?

This is going to be awesome, I have decided that the money I have now go into a spare account for one of these, an 8. A superstrat shape would be brilliant.

    1. as standard we thought about single pickup configuration, right now singles are not an existing option, but we can make even 8 string singles without any problem, so I think we will stay with one pickup as standard and we will ask about upcharge for more pickups. There will be possibility of routing only.

    2. we want that guitar to be simple, so there will be volume and tone max. Plus some switch if there will be more pickups. But no advanced configurations, hb coil splitting etc.

    Shapes:
    for sure we will offer
    - PRS shape
    - V shape
    - Soloist like shape

Excellent news :yesway:... if my understanding that you'll be able to offer routing only (without pickups) is correct :).

This sounds Excellent as I only play on the bridge pup anyway also a single volume knob is all I need to. No Tone knob.
