It's more unique than his Horizon
but the Horizon looked better.

I really don't like the Surfcaster shape as a solidbody.

I dig the quirkiness of the Surfcaster - for surf rigs because offsets fit the style. They look a bit wonky for metal. Fashion matters!

I dig the surfcaster body, but only for the actual surfcaster guitar, otherwise, it's just a Fender Jaguar styled body with humbuckers, which looks hokey to me.

Now I want to get a pink flame, headless, off-set 10-string fan fret just to piss off "metal" dudes.

the surfcaster would be way cooler with a reverse pointy headstock

Aaaah! So that's what he is playing?!

I saw them at Ceres Park, Aarhus @ Denmark in the end of june, and I was wondering what guitar he was playing. Couldn't connect the shape to any particular brand, so I initially thought it was some sort of weird custom job :)
Not really my style - I liked his old guitar better - but apparently it plays well, because he shredded that thing flawlessly in every lead part at that gig. He's a beastly player live :)

Headstock aside. I love offset guitars. I play a Suhr JM. I've used it for some pretty heavy stuff and it could hang. I also like the idea of showing up to a gig with a guitar that makes the crowd think one thing and then the sounds coming from it are something entirely different. I dig surf music too.

Yea, hard pass for me on this one. He's a killer player though.

Happy for him. Very underrated guitarist imo. Writes great solos and tons of catchy riffs/songs.

I agree. Dude's legit the most underrated dude Anthrax ever had. And his ESP sig was cool, being a callback to the late-'90s ESPs and whatnot.

This is... ew. I wish he would have did some kind of archtop Dinky or something. Or put a pointy stock on this guitar.

Recently got big into Volbeat, and I dig the idea of a high end, offset Jackson that isn't a Kelly. So this is cool.

Is there anything in particular I should give a shot? Cause not gonna lie, I heard a bunch of their songs and found them all just... well, they were just there.

I only just know him from Volbeat. Only Anthrax album I have is worship songs. But Volbeat is on regular rotation on my Spotify. Love catchy metal songs.

Bo was in both Worship Music (which he also produced) and We Have Come For You All. His production credits are pretty wide too from Chthonic, Ill Nino, 36 Crazyfits and a bunch of others.

I managed to see him with Anthrax twice in 2012, and he can certainly throw down.

It sucks the dude didn't get much love. He has a super unique style I super dig. His legato is on point.

IIRC he produces all the Volbeat album's hes on too.
