An old band from 2006 on Myspace called Gotherfall which came out with only one album release then broke up. Shame.

Still some of the best Symphonic Black Metal I'd ever heard. Anyone had more?

Anorexia Nervosa is hands down my favorite symphonic black metal band.

Check out the album Redemption Process

I've actually heard some of their material before, I can't recall which album I head but completely forgot about them.

Never heard Redemption Process so I'm going to give this album a shot right now, thanks for the recommendation.

I just listened to that entire album & it was a lot better halfway through. It's good but it's still not quite as raw as the sound of Gotherfall.

Gotherfall has this unforgiving & brutal sound to them like early black metal with it's rawness but still mixed decently too.

I haven't found something I liked quite like Gotherfall unfortunately. They are one of my favorites.

It ain't raw, but another band from that MySpace era that no one will have heard. Pretty good EP

Hell yeah! What a score. That was exactly what I was looking for.

Raw vocals, orchestral parts, fast riff based guitars, melodic yet hard hitting & brutal with the mix delivering in a non DIY way but still leaving things a bit raw & uncooked at the same time.

Thanks a ton for the share man! I'm about to check out more of this band. Can't believe they somehow passed me by.

They might not be exactly what you want, but Covenant's first album is raw, somewhat symphonic, and fantastic.

Their second is also good, not symphonic at all, but dear god stay away from anything they put out after that as The Kovenant

I'd kinda forgotten about them. Yeah...The Kovenant is a hot mess. I love industrial but that is terrible even by those standards. Good lord did they ever take a nosedive after the name change.
