I would say go with Jackson. They don't have ss frets, but they are really nice guitars.

I’ve had 2 Jackson V’s before both from the late 80’s early 90’s professional line. The Ex and the Pro, honestly I think I may go with the solar based off the responses, and some of the folks over at the solar thread.

That Apocalypse FR V looks like a lot of fun.

A french member of guitar forum told me the same thing about Essex recording studio on reverb.
The Abbath remind me of the Loomis V and the Vixen, love it, but I've never seen one in a shop...Even wondered if it was ever released...

I had two Washburn Solar v’s pretty nice guitars, but the damn jack placement annoyed me more and more. I believe it’s the same on a Solar V. Kept hitting my right knee while standing.

I have a black metal arrow like you mentioned, I can’t say enough nice things about it.

He misrepresents what he is selling, false advertises, lies about him being a distributor of brands, and lies about the condition of the instrument

The ESP Guitar Fanatics and Jackson FB Groups hate him and so do I.

Many have reported him to reverb but reverb seems to be putting their pocketbooks ahead of customers

That is Interesting, how high do you have your guitar situated on your body? I intend to keep it pretty high on myself and being almost 6’3” . Also are you using a straight jack or a 90 degree angle jack?

Side note - how is the balance on the arrow?I rock a hefty 3 inch wide leather strap but I still occasionally have guitars dive on me

Also side note both guitars are indo built for anyone curious

I rock my V’s pretty low. Low enough for the jack to be constantly hitting my knee cap. Used a straight jack. Id imagine an angled one would have been worse.

The Arrow that I have is very well balanced. Both hands off and it doesn’t go anywhere. I’d recommend it for sure.

I just bought a M-Black Metal, but damn I want the Arrow as well. If it would have been the regular SV I'd own one already.

I'd go Jackson King V, or ESP Arrow.

Nevermind... too late to the party to participate.
