The Faulkner sig from Epiphone might be something to consider. You get EMGs and a floyd. And the tuners on my Gibson V work fine, but you get locked strings with a Floyd anyway.

The Jackson V pictured is a 2003 limited edition Mille Petrozza (Kreator) signature model run of 250 guitars, which were only released in Europe.

Very nice, maybe that's the one, or the Schecter Explorer shape (whatever sig. BVB dude).

The Mille V would be a dream but I don't think I can get that here and not for that money :)

Don't forget the ESP Alexi models. Beware the baseball bat neck though.

I have an ESP Alexi Blacky, they are Editdefinitely chunky compared to Jackson RRs in terms of neck and body (US shape).

For that price range I sugged trying used Japanese Jacksons in decent shape, like RR5 or Kellys. I just checked Reverb for Jackson Stars there are couple of RRs and Kellys out there:

    https://reverb.com/marketplace?query=jackson stars&year_min=2000&year_max=2009

    hope it helps

Yeah, I considered that. I liked his Jackson models but that was too much $$$.
@arasys I'll check out your suggestions, thank you all!

I had an older Kramer V that was more akin to a Jackson V and hated the neck on it, it actually caused my wrist to stiffen up and lock up during performance, strange. That new V shape does not work for me at all.

Thank you all for the great suggestions.

Contemplating on amp purchase, there's a Mesa Dual Recto and original 4x12 that I might have to pick up as it is too good to pass up locally. So might not have budget left ;)
