So yeah I'm debating on trading my 1960B for this cab.

Randall rg80es head and Warhead 412 Cab

It's loaded with V30s but I don't know if the overall construction and sound quality is good.

Anyone have any experience with them? It's a straight up trade.

I haven't used a Warhead cabinet, but I have a lynch cab and like it quite a bit. If it's anything like that and made in America, it should be pretty sweet.

I would but it's kind of a far drive. Is it anything like a Mesa OS?

Some dudes from a band around here used both Warhead cabs (the 4x12 and the 2x15) with 5150s, and they sounded mean as hell. Now its been awhile since I've seen them, but I would probably go with that over the 1960B. Then again, I'm not much of a fan of Marshall cabs.

Yeah my 1960B has V30s and G12T-75s in the X pattern. What's wrong with Marshall Cabs?

    I just got the dimensions.

    33.5 H (with wheels), 31W, 13.75 D

How would this pair up against a Mesa 4x12 OS?

Yeah so it's just slightly wider. He said that it killed the Mesa his band member had when it came to articulation and clarity. He even said he's bring it to me...

Sigh. What do you guys think? I think I'm siding to go with the trade but the cab looks a bit roughed up compared to mine. My cab has like one small tear at most.

As long as it doesn't look completely mutilated. If you like the 1960b though, then just keep it. You said he'd bring it to you, right? If so, try it out with your amp, and if you like it, do the trade.

One of my guitarists run his Mark IV through a Warhead cab. Sounds what you'd expect with V30's.

I also owned a Randall RG80ES. It was horrible...

Yeah I ended up keeping the 1960. Gonna wait for a better deal. There was just something about the Warhead that I was unsure about. My cab was in much better condition.
