...a Douglas WEB-846 in Tribal Green! My Spectors have been sidelined for the last month or so since I picked up my 5-string Jazz Bass. I love the sound of single coil pups. Naturally, I wanted a 6-string with this type of configuration & here it is.

    Lightweight! Weighs approx. 9 lbs
Flame Maple Top for a great look
Dual cutaway basswood body is contoured and shaped for outstanding comfort
Deep cutaways allow easy access to the entire fingerboard on this 34" scale bass
5-Bolt Hard Rock Maple Neck with adjustable truss rod
Rosewood fingerboard with position markers on the side of the fingerboard only
Two Active 2Jass Bass Pickups for great sound; easy change battery compartment
Two band EQ plus volume and balance controls for lots of sound variation
BB266 Bridge with String-Thru construction for lots of attack and sustain
Width of the neck at the nut: 2 1/4" String spacing at the bridge 2 15/16"
    Overall length 46 1/2" Scale Length 34"
Width at the widest point: 12 3/4", body thickness at the edge: 1 3/4"

In addition, I picked up an alder 4-string jazz body & a jazz neck w/ reversed headstock, black binding, black clock inlays & maple fretboard. Think of it as a Geddy Lee style bass, but with a reversed headstock. I think the bass will be red. The attached pic is roughly what I think I'll do to it.

Yep, but it's a well designed bridge. I played a Peavey Grind 6-string this week & it had one of those. Very well made.

I dig this. Is it available as a 5-string version?

I'm digging how the J will look. Always loved the Geddy look (maple + blocks).

My Fender Jazz Bass V is pure sex. I rarely find that theres a tone I can't get on it (at least, not that isn't blamed solely on the amp/pedals).

Got the Douglas 6 & the 4-string jazz neck & body a few days ago. First impressions....don't walk. RUN to Rondo & buy from them now! Great stuff & KILLER prices. ;)

I REALLY want to get the fretless version of that with the soapbar pups, but it doesn't have fret lines and that could be a problem. I don't know how well I'd adapt, considering I'm splitting my attention so much between guitar and bass.

That looks lovely, looks loads like a Shine bass though, just with a different headstock and logo...
