The extended bridge placement looks goofy but it sounds pretty cool.

Wonder why they went against the usual ERG advice of keeping the pickups close to the saddles for the tighter sound? Not that I know anything of what makes good bass tone, but if Dingwall did it?

No idea. And to be honest, I actually don't like recording or performing sub octave tuned bass sounds especially with an 8 string register and prefer unison.

That Navarro bass so far is at least from what I've heard is the closest to get a decent note definition in that range, even if it's still clouded with overtones. And it looks cool and fun to play, if not just to try out.

Yea man! There was a hardtail one with white over paisley on Reverb a few weeks ago. It checked all of the boxes...loved the aesthetics, flatter radius, humbucker in bridge, hardtail, jumbo frets, loved it. If only it didn't have a $5K price tag!

Ever since I saw it I've been toying with the idea of doing a Warmoth build. I have some paisley paper that would look killer. The guitar in my profile pic is a relic I built after Dez's wirebird. A shreddy Strat would round out the collection nicely. Only changes I'd make would be delete one tone and make the two "tone" knobs a volume/tone, and would make it a 7/8 side jack like a tele.

Yeah the Fender CS prices have gotten a bit nuts... I do love my CS strat but I also love my MJT builds  This one is really tempting me though

I do love the 1570s. Seeing a mirage red model with EMGs makes me wish I didn't have to sell mine, excellent value

ESP Exhibition is Dream next level guitar porn for me. I’d put in glass display case on studio wall.

I want an MIJ JEM7VWH with either a Lo Pro or an original Edge (which is probably switch out for a Lo Pro anyway). If it’s already a little beaten anyway, I’d pay for a sustainer mod just like Steve’s and then I can have more fun when playing The Crying Machine.

I just don’t want to pay an outrageous amount for one…
