I moved away from extreme black metal into a more gaze-y, foggy, ambient sound.

BOSS TU-3 > Line6 Uber Metal (cheap pedal, but has a noise gate and sounds good through this setup) > MXR Carbon Copy Delay > BOSS Tera Echo > EHX 44 Magnum > Randall 2x12

The VE-20 is for my vocals.

Guitar is a custom Thirteen Les Paul with a Seymour Duncan Black Winter.

Pedal board is an old piece of compressed cardboard I got from a display shelf. I used Velcro and zip ties to attach the pedals. Ouija mints contain picks and ear plugs.

I dig that you are still rocking the Chibson - and your description of your sound :D

    Any clips to share?

Sad you moved away from the more extreme form of the genre the new hipster stuff is not my cup of tea at all. Cool choice of pedals tho im very fond of the uber metal

It's an awesome guitar, but has specs no one wants, lol.

I released one demo from my upcoming album

The new material I wrote has more depth than what I was playing before, and feels more natural/personal, I didn't want to turn everything into a full on, non stop blast beat fest as before, plus it's an awesome feeling playing these songs that paint a landscape.

Agree, the Uber Metal is vastly overlooked and cheap!

Check it out if you have a second

    That demo sounds great!

I'm not sure how a hazier BM tone is now considered "hipster"-y as alleged above.

Sounds alot better then I was anticipating I was expecting wolfs in the throne room type stuff. This is more on a Xasthur or Leviathan type vibe I'm digging it.

Aside from the usual Les Paul specs,

Single pickup with one volume pot
    Pickguard with no neck cutout.
    Roller bridge.
No 3-way switch cavity or switch.
    Ebony fingerboard.
    No neck inlays.

AKA blasphemy to a certain Les Paul forum.

    Thanks for checking it out!
