    Hey guys,

Odd question, but I'm doing a pickup trade with a friend because I wanted my Dominions back, and he wanted hotter pickups, and I got the Dominions in just fine (covered black ftw), but the tab holes on the stock pickups from the JP are ....ing massive. Short of getting new baseplates for these things, do any of you have any kind of tip for making sure they actually mount in a pickup ring? I'd like to get this done asap, and this is the only thing getting in my way currently.

    Thanks!

Tab holes on direct mount pickups have to be drilled larger than when using rings. If you want to use rings with them you could put a nut on the other side of the baseplate.

I've had the same problem once, and I just used slightly thicker screws in the pickup ring. The nut idea is good too :yesway:
