:) if I could go back in time, in hs, I would prefer to had been known as "chick corea" or "allan holdsworth" rather than "Ozzy." :)

A lot of my heroes are gone.

I know this thread is about Ozzy, but my piano teacher had me learning out of a book of Chick Corea's "Children's Songs" and wow, that dude was on another level.

Lucky to have seen him before he went. One of my all time best gigs, and he wasnt even in his prime.

Dude's a legend for a reason. Here's to a hell of a career.

Gutted as I had tickets to see him that have been postponed for last few years but seeing him perform at that NFL game and then the Commonwealth Games..... no way he looked in any fit state to take care of himself let alone tour... sad coz the man is a fcuking legend and if any musician deserves a peaceful retirement its Ozzy

Well his last album is really good, still playing often, so he's retiring on a good note in my book ;)
Glad I saw him in paris a while ago with Gus G. Great concert, Gus was great, added a bit of class to the songs.

Hopefully he can recover and start feeling a bit better now. As much as I'd like to have seen him live I'm relieved for his sake. Just don't want to see another Lemmy situation where he got sick and then died 2 months after his last live gig.

Unfortunately, Parkinson's Disease gets progressively worse, not better. Despite only going public about his diagnosis a few years ago, he was diagnosed with Parkinson's about 20 years ago - back when 'The Osbornes' reality show was being filmed.
