Ok, I need a seven-string guitar for heavy stuff. Imagine Meshuggah meets Decapitated. Mostly Meshuggah though, heh. I'll be playing through a 5150 combo OR an Engl Powerball with the matching Engl 4x12.

I've played USA custom shop Jackson Soloist 7's, Ibanez's RG, S, and even the AX series 7's, a custom shop USA ESP Explorer bodied 7 as well as the Eclipse (Les Paul style) 7. But so far the Schecter Blackjack C7 (Seymour Duncan JB7 and '59-7) and Hellraiser C7 (with EMG 707's) has the best price with the best options and playability for me.

I played a friend's Hellraiser C7 which he said he had to order from Schecter. Which I would much rather have than the Blackjack simply for the EMG's. What do you guys think of those two Schecters? I owned a Universe two years ago and now I'm kicking myself for selling it, but I wasn't into heavy stuff at the time and didn't realize the potential. Let me know. Thanks.
