We're about to roll out a "production" line.

    A few details:
OXC and HDC models, possible HDCH bass as well
    Bolt-on, KTS titanium reinforced
Hipshot headless hardware (with XEN logo :hbang:)
    6, 7, and 8 string options
Fanned frets (reasonable scales - no 3+ inch fans, sorry! - standard and extended options, plus an extreme option for the 8, bass will be fanned as well)
Dimarzio, Lace, and EMG pickup options
GHS strings (because their new 8 string sets are RIGHT!!!!)
    Limited wood options, choices TBD

We're going over all of the costs associated with these models and hope to lock in pricing VERY soon.

XEN will continue to offer semi-custom builds for those who want all of the bells and whistles, but they will be priced accordingly - of course the new feature set will reflect the pricing.

I know news has been scarce, but I'm doing what I can to ramp things up.

Thanks for all of your continued interest and encouragement!!!
    Stay tuned!

I'm just gonna throw out there that the Ophelia (I think that's the name...?) should be a production model at some point. :D

The Ophelia is sexy as fuck, though (nitpicking ) I'd ideally like that upper horn to come back around to the neck. Still considering putting money down on one instead of a CC... whenever Eric finishes the new price/feature list :squint:

I think I want a CC bass... That or an SC. They look nice as both guitars and basses. 6 or 7 string fretless HCC bass.. :yum:

Hey, I'm scoping a headless guitar as per the OAF fall run (OXCs) and being based in Europe I was wondering who would build it?

It's nothing too fancy; 1" fan only, Mahog/maple body, Maple/Rosewood neck, and if possible string through as opposed to top-loaded.

I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure having a string through headless guitar wouldn't work, it has to be top-loaded so you can actually tune the thing :)

I talked with Tom over email and it sounds like mine (the OAF 10 Eric designed and the XEN 9) are either already started or about to get started. Whoohoo! We're finally on the way!

I know mine has been slowing up progress. I was originally hoping to get it by spring break but given that starts in six hours, I don't think it'll happen. Hopefully I'll have it come May/June.
