Hey C! good to hear from you. Been in Barcelona/ Zurich for the past 4.5 years. and got my guitars shipped to me from Dubai only a few month ago. They were all still in tune after 4 years + in storage. what happened to your build in the end?

Sounds great, ana I moved to Paris in 2020, i just managed to pick up my old washie last month and bring it with me. The Daemoness build was some 3 years late on its initial estimate, by that point i didn't have the savings anymore for a custom guitar and was focusing on the move to France. They found another buyer in under an hour, this person owns it now and added some pretty ugly stickers on it. Anyway it isn't mine, doesn't matter 🙃

It was for sale in Melbourne about 10 years ago, asking AUD2k. Was tempted back then, but the neck joint looks too wonky...

Came here to see if anyone had posted that yet. I'd think the ding would be easy enough to fix for someone brave enough. Definitely have to know what you're doing, though, and if the finish is stable as-is, I'd probably just leave it.

With regards to the flipping, I can't tell if it's Daemoness that's overpriced on the aftermarket anymore, or just Reverb in general. Those two being offered for ~$4k USD doesn't really stand out among some of the other gear prices on there these days. Definitely isn't the best value, though.
