A lot of people on this forum could be unknowingly playing guitars stained with the luthiers blood if they had an accident during building.

    Stained in blood?
    From a lacerated guy?
    Bleeding its horror?
    Building your structure?

What, are you not going to put your blood on a build if you accidentally nick yourself while working on it?

That honestly happens every time I change strings on my Floyd equipped axes, or if I don't cut the string tips short enough. The best by far, was in a Guitar Center when I grabbed an Ibanez RG with a maple fret board. I didn't look at the neck while I was dialing in an amp tone. I felt the blood running down my hand, and looked up wondering "how the F**K did I do that?" Blood all over the neck!

The employees acknowledged your unbreakable blood-bond with the guitar and let you walk out with it, right?

No, they didn't . But I was nice enough to clean it at their tech bench and used the opportunity to restring it with their own strings. Someone did buy it, though.

Seeing as everyone is coming in here expecting their Daemoness fix here is the two sick looking Bog Oak guitars Dylan is working on, I can't wait to see what he has planned for inlays.

Awesome. I wonder what the cost is for bog oak that size. You see it used a lot on specialty woodworking projects (e.g. fancy sword hilts), but usually for applications way smaller than a guitar top. I think it's quite costly to use, but also rather fragile as Dylan pointed out, thus the difficulty in working with it in large pieces.

Really anticipating how these two turn out. Are they for someone specifically, or is there a chance they'll come up for sale?

Had my first skype consult with Dylan and ...., you can't show me a more passionate guy. The man loves metal and building metal guitars more than most can understand. I have nothing but the utmost respect and admiration for him and what he does. Can't wait for my build to come to fruition at the hands of such a craftsman.

I always wondered if he would do a strat copy. Like just a relic sunburst strat with a big 70s headstock and 21 frets. Metal it up a bit with a non-recessed Floyd and a humbucker in the bridge. Something for old school metals like Priest, Maiden, early black metals. A big black Daemoness logo on the big fat headstock and a "D" stamped neck plate. It would look like just a modded old strat but play* insane. Anyway, that's my fantasy Daemoness.

    *( LOL but play)

He would build that guitar, then set it on fire, melt it down and pour it into the mold for a d(a)emonic flying-V/battle axe and bolster it with steel forged reinforced struts. Add some strings, pickups, a bridge. Sharpen like a knife.

    Then sell. :)
